Women have been one of the most controversial issues in the genealogy of the sexes. Several theories have emerged questioning the self and make the woman was derived from a worldview quite a story full of cultural, social, political and religious.
The symbolism of this celebration by Valentina Napolitano (1997), is strictly connected to the constitutional aspects, the image of women, the status of the family. In the study by Napolitano, social practice with girls from fifteen years of reading Foucault's theories (focusing on the concepts of subject, sexuality, discourse of power), we inquire about how this ceremony is a powerful speech which strongly outlines the woman from the moment it ceases to be a girl (that even being a girl and has a whole by socio-cultural and sexual) and becomes a teenager, who lives a period of maturity, "hatches" and then take their place as women within the household, as a mother, a woman in society.
